Let Me Introduce Myself
I am originally from a small town west of Rochester, New York, but currently reside in Virginia just outside of Washington DC where I work as a Flight Attendant for a major US airline. My interest in the art of photography began when I was given a Canon PowerShot G5 camera as a birthday gift back in high school. However, it wasn't until I studied abroad in Valencia, Spain during college that I started exploring photography as a creative outlet. With no formal education in this particular art form, my images are the result of spending countless hours looking through my camera lens and snapping thousands of photographs. I have since moved on from the PowerShot G5 and now shoot with a Sony a6000 as well as my newly acquired Sony a7iii full-frame mirrorless camera. One thing that I have realized through the years is that you don't need to have the most expensive equipment to be a great photographer, for it all relies on the imagination and "eye" of the person holding the camera. As a hobby photographer, I find enjoyment in creating images of things I come across during my travels and in my everyday life. My goal in creating this website is to inspire curiosity and creativity, and to invite you to open your eyes to the world.
